The last suspect in the Canadian mass stabbing that occurred on Sunday had died after suffering medical hardship” that was not determined in a hospital immediately after his arrest, the police said on Wednesday. Police Mounted Royal Canadian (RCMP) officially confirmed the death of Myles Sanderson during the press conference late at night, only a few hours after it was reported that he had been detained.
Police said Myles was arrested near the city of Rosthern in Saskatchewan Province, around 100 km southwest of the area where bloodshed was opened on Sunday. Canadian global news, quoting several sources of law enforcement, reported that Myles surrendered to the police and was taken alive in an ambulance after the pursuit of the highway where the police crashed into his vehicle from the road.
Assistant Commissioner RCMP Rhonda Blackmore said Myles “experienced medical difficulties” as soon as he was arrested, added that emergency medical personnel in the place that cared for him and he was taken to the hospital as well, but was declared dead during arrival.

Earlier on Wednesday, RCMP issued an emergency warning, asked residents to take shelter in their places and avoid approaching suspicious people. The announcement was made when officers responded to the stolen vehicle report driven by a man who was armed with a knife, which might be related to mass stabbing.
Myles and his brother Damien Sanderson were accused of stabbing 10 people to death and injured 18 others in the process on Sunday. A day later, the police found Damien’s body in a grassy area, and an investigation is currently being carried out to ascertain whether Myles killed his own brother.
A former con, Myles has a long history of past crime, including as many as 59 sentences for two decades. He was released with parole in February this year, while serving a four -year sentence of various accusations, including robbery and attack. The police, however, have been hunting for him since May because he reportedly violated the requirements of his liberation in more than one opportunity, including not smoking and using drugs.
Canadian Minister of Public Safety Marco Demicino said that there would be an investigation into the assessment of a parole in Myles.
