He said that the Dalit community remains standing with BSP and even “if leaders of the opposition party go and have lunch in their houses, it’s Mayawati who takes them out of those slums and into well-built houses.”
The Rajya Sabha member talking about challenges to the BSP within the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections discarded Chandrashekhar Ravan, president of Bhim Army, as an opponent.
Mishra said that the whole state is looking towards Mayawati to revive the law and order situation within the state and therefore the entire country saw that the Brahmin community had close to support the party in 2007 which the party will repeat it in 2022.
Satish Chandra Mishra further said, “The way Uttar Pradesh has been pushed back in last 10 years, to bring it back within the right direction|not off course”> on target and maintain law and order in the state again, the entire state is watching Mayawati with hope.”
He further maintained that the BJP is posing for votes within the name of faith and sidestepping development.
On questions of Mayawati unable to stoke opposition, Mishra said that when the BJP was con they might say we are working with Congress, now Congress is saying we are working with BJP. “110 cases are filed against Mayawati and she or he was cleared of all charges of corruption. the quantity of corruption in UP is immense with an investment of 4 lakh crores,” he said.
“We are fighting for farmers, and that we have maintained the stand taken by Baba Saheb on Article 370 and that we fight on agenda not only for opposing. As a parliamentarian of the govt is doing something good we stand with them. We aren’t in Parliament for doing negative politics,” Mishra said on questions of BSP siding with BJP on several key issues
