Japan said Tuesday that a suspected North Korean bullet” probably” flew over the country and advised residers to move to harbors.
At 729 am( 2229 GMT Monday), the country’s bullet alert warning system was actuated, with defenses showing public broadcaster NHK turning to the alert communication.North Korea appears to have launched a bullet. Please void into structures or underground,” the alert read.
NHK said the alert was in effect for two northern regions of the country, where the bullet was believed to be headed.Around 800 am, the high minister’s office also twittered that” a gunshot that appears to be a North Korean ballistic bullet has probably flown over Japan”.
In a statement, Japan’s coastguard said the bullet appeared to have formerly landed in the ocean and advised vessels not to approach any falling objects.
