While talking about the film, legendary actor Ila Varun, who also plays a crucial role in the upcoming thriller, says that she thinks Haddi is a very different and special kind of revenge drama film, courtesy of its “detailed script, engaging plot, and the portrayal of the transgender community”. In addition to the same, Ila Arun also claims that the film depicts “gang war, emotions, a truth about life and reality, power structure, and how the corrupt society is encasing the weaknesses of transgenders and their fight for rights.”. Ila Arun also said that playing the character of Revati Maa will always remain special to him, as her character has a great deal of significance in the movie. She also revealed, albeit accidentally, that she is the only female artist who is a part of the film’s star cast.
