‘Heavily-armed’ Taliban men entered premises of Kabul gurdwara today: Report

Amid enterprises over the situation of nonages in Afghanistan post the Taliban’s preemption of the country, Puneet Singh Chandhok, who heads the India- grounded Indian World Forum, claimed on Friday that “ heavily-fortified” officers from the “ Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan” raided a gurdwara in Kabul. Chandhok also prompted the Government of India to take up the enterprises of the Afghan Hindus and Sikhs with the Taliban governance in that country.

Moment, heavily-fortified officers who claimed to be from a special unit of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, forcefully entered Gurdwara Dashmesh Pita at Karte Parwan, Kabul. They bullied the community present there, and abused the saintship of the holy place,” Chandhok said, according to news agency ANI.

The Taliban, which seized power in the war- torn nation for a alternate time on August 15, relate to it as the “ Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.”

Chandhok further contended that the “ officers” raided not only the demesne of the gurdwara, but also those of a academy attached to it, and also searched the former hearthstone and home of Afghan MP Narinder Singh Khalsa that’s conterminous to the place of deification. “ The private security guards originally averted them from entering the gurdwara, but they, too, were hovered with dire consequences and manhandled as well. Around 20 members of the Sikh community are present outside,” he added.

“ The peremptory governance in Afghanistan should misbehave with the UN duty, and also insure the well- being of the nonages living there,” Chandhok said.

This is for the alternate time this month when such an incident has taken place at Gurdwara Karte Parwan. On October 5, suspected Taliban fighters entered its demesne, tied up the guards, and destroyed CCTV cameras. They also compactly enthralled the structure, driving enterprises within the Sikh community.
