Covid-19: Abu Dhabi expands the green list; English, India not added

Abu Dhabi last week made it mandatory for its residents to have a green trajectory in the Covid-19 country application to enter shopping centers, restaurants, cafes and other public places from June 15.
Abu Dhabi, the second densest emirate in the UAE, has updated the list of countries in ‘green list’, which will allow more people to be released from compulsory quarantine, said local media reports. People who arrived at Abu Dhabi from there countries only need to undergo a RT-PCR test at the airport, Emirate Administration, Report added.

The passengers who are fully vaccinated need to undergo a follow-up RT-PCR test after six days, while those who are not fully directed to hold other tests on 12th day, media reports say quoting the Emirate Tourism Ministry.

The UAE has one of the highest inoculation levels in the world with astrazeneca, Pfizer / Bionech, Sinopharm and Sputnik V vaccines available for citizens and residents.

In Abu Dhabi, those who are immunized with Chinese-made synopharm shots can also take a dose of Pfizer / Bionth as a booster.
