Afghanistan Highlights US President Joe Biden on Tuesday addressed the nation and thanked the US service for their work in emptying people since the Taliban preemption of Afghanistan. “ No nation has ever done anything like it in all of history,” he stressed. Biden also said that he accepts responsibility for the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan as staying there was no longer an option. The Ministry of External Affairs Tuesday said that the Indian envoy in Qatar Deepak Mittal met Taliban leader Sher Mohammed Abbas Stanekzai in Doha. Ambassador Mittal raised India’s concern that Afghanistan’s soil shouldn’t be used foranti-Indian conditioning and terrorism in any manner, it said.
Before moment, Taliban forces disaccorded with host fighters in the Panjshir vale north of the Afghan capital Kabul on Monday night, losing eight killed, news agency Reuters reported citing a representative of the mainanti-Taliban opposition group. Since the fall of Kabul on August 15, the Panjshir has been the only fiefdom to hold out against the Taliban, although there has also been fighting in neighbouring Baghlan fiefdom between Taliban and original host forces.
The Taliban triumphantly marched into Kabul’s transnational field on Tuesday, hours after the final US troop pullout that ended America’s longest war. Standing on the tarmac, Taliban leaders pledged to secure the country, snappily renew the field and entitlement remittal to former opponents.
