Paris (Reuters) – French President Emmanuel Macron spoke by telephone on Friday with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, said the Macron office, where Johnson told Macron that England wanted to restore cooperation with France.

Telephone conversations between the two leaders came just a few days after Johnson told France to get the grip and give allies in the United States and Australia rest for one line about the trilateral submarina trilateral agreement which ripped apart a separate French contract.
