January 2021 goes to be a rough month for Netflix US subscribers currently set to lose a myriad of status licensed titles. Adding thereto pain is that the news that each one five seasons of When Calls the guts are going to be departing on January 25th, 2021  the series has now departed the US but other regions still have all seasons. Season 7 are often found on Hallmark Movies Now.

The Canadian-American co-production is one among the top-rated series on Hallmark where it airs within the US (Super Channel in Canada). Although the series has fallen on some controversial times because of the controversy that surrounded one among the celebs of the show, Lori Loughlin, it’s still highly regarded and can be a devastating loss for Netflix.

Season one among the show was first added to Netflix in 2015. New seasons came per annum thereafter, with season five of the show arriving in December 2018. But since then, Netflix has did not get any new seasons.

Netflix US had been expecting season six of the show to be added (and season seven which aired in early 2020 and season eight, which is on the way) and with the announcement of the removal, those future seasons won’t be coming to Netflix. It also could mean bad things for other shows on Netflix that have did not get updates whether that be the CBS dramas or fan-favorite Heartland.

All 53 episodes are now set to depart Netflix US on January 25th, 2021 only the show’s departure within the us has been announced so far . Although its US removal date doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll depart in other countries, it’s something to remember of. We’ll update this once we learn more about the complete scale of its departure from Netflix.

As we mentioned, January 2021 goes to be a bloodbath for licensed content on Netflix. Starting on January 1st, we’ll see the removal of variety of status shows like The Office and Gossip Girl. Then later within the month, titles just like the Tudors and now When Calls the guts are going to be departing.
